The Schansberg campaign greatly appreciates all donations.

At minimum, to comply with Federal election law (FEC regulations), we must collect the name and address of individuals who contribute $50 or more in a calendar year. We must collect the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals who contribute $200 or more in a calendar year. Individuals may contribute a maximum of $2300 before April 26 and $2300 after April 26. Contributions to the committee from a.) general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank; b.) any person contributing another's funds; c.) a Federal government contractor; or d.) a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status are prohibited by foreign law. Note also that you may not deduct contributions for income tax purposes.

  • $20 will allow us to purchase two radio ads
  • $50 will allow us to purchase 1000 business cards
  • $100 will allow us to purchase one 1/4-page newspaper ad
  • $300 will allow us to run 50 ads on cable TV
  • $500 will allow us to purchase 1200 bumper stickers
  • $1000 will allow us to create one targeted direct mail piece to 3000 people
  • $2300 will allow us to rent one billboard

If it is more convenient for you to donate via credit card, please do so securely through Donor Town Square. But 6% of your donation will be taken as a fee by Donor Town Square for credit card contributions, so payment by check will benefit our campaign the most.
